So everyone! New Spin class in Lake Country starting this evening, Tues & Thurs nights from 6 - 7 pm!
Great for those who don't want to go too far to get in some spin / cycling time close to home and with a group of like-minded individuals who are trying to accomplish the same goals! Indoor cycling is great for you health, and in a 45- 60 min class you can burn up to 1000 calories! Due to the nature of the exercise, it is also a great way to burn fat as it is an amazing cardio respiratory workout, added in with some rolling hills also gives it a strength building component for the lower body! Plus, riding your own bike indoors on a trainer also helps to boost your confidence of cycling all around as you put in base training building the foundations of fitness on your bike!
As this class is specific to riding your OWN Bike on a stationary trainer, I would like to point out some benefits to using this type of set-up versus an actual 'Spin Bike' type of set up:
